Swedish households are increasingly leaving cable and satellite for internet-based TV. IPTV, Internet Protocol Television, is one of the options.
Why it is popular
You can watch on your phone, tablet and smart TV when it suits you. Common features are video on demand, pause and rewind, several devices at once and high picture quality.
What you need
- A stable internet connection
- A good router and well-placed Wi-Fi to avoid interruptions
- A compatible device or app
Check that the service is legitimate
IPTV is a technology and not a content provider. Whether a service is legitimate depends on whether the content is properly licensed. Testa IPTV does not verify this, so make your own assessment, see Is IPTV legal?
