- Samsung (Tizen): The app range depends on the model year.

- Fire TV: A popular and cheap solution with an Android-based system.
Connection

Checklist before buying a service
- Which operating system does the TV have, and which players are in its app store?
- Does the service support app login, a playlist (M3U) or both?
- How many simultaneous connections are included?
- Can you try it before you commit?
When an external device pays off
